Thank you for choosing Tudor Court Hotel. We look forward to welcoming you. By making a booking, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General Booking Terms
These terms apply to Tudor Court Hotel, its officers, employees, and agents (“We”/“Us”/“Our”), and to any person or legal entity making a booking or to whom we provide services in respect of a booking (“You”/“Your”). These terms are governed by English law. By making a booking, you agree to these terms. Please note that bookings made on third-party websites may be subject to additional or different conditions.
2. Bookings & Payment
A contract is formed when we confirm your reservation and receive a deposit equivalent to one night’s stay. The remaining balance is payable at check-in. You must be over 18 and legally able to enter into a binding contract to make a booking. Reservations require a valid credit or debit card. We do not store your card details.
3. Credit Card Policy
Credit card transactions must be made by the cardholder or with written authorization from the cardholder (e.g., a signed letter or email). Transactions made with Visa or Mastercard cards issued outside the UK will be processed in GBP.
4. Cancellations
Cancellations must be received at least 72 hours before the stated arrival date. If cancelled later or in the case of a no-show, the full amount of the reservation will be charged. For cancellations made with 72 hours’ notice, only the first night’s fee will be retained. To cancel, contact us in writing with your name, check-in date, booking reference, and payment details.
5. Prices
Rates include electricity, linens, towels, cleaning, hot water, and central heating. Prices are per room per night and include English breakfast, service, and VAT at the prevailing rate. Rates may vary depending on guest numbers, dates, or room nights booked. Supplements, if selected, will be added to the total booking price. All rates are subject to change.
6. Availability
In the unlikely event that we cannot accommodate your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer alternative accommodation.
7. Arrival & Departure
Check-in is from 12:00 pm, and check-out is by 10:00 am. We can store your luggage before check-in or after check-out for your convenience.
8. Amendments
Amendments to bookings must be requested at least 72 hours in advance and are subject to availability. A fee of £10 per room will apply.
9. Conditions of Stay
For the safety and comfort of all guests, we have house rules that comply with fire, health, and safety regulations. We reserve the right to terminate a booking without refund if a guest engages in disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior.
10. Pets
Pets are not allowed in the hotel.
11. Non-Smoking Policy
Tudor Court Hotel is a smoke-free property. Smoking is prohibited by law. Evidence of smoking in guest rooms will result in a charge equivalent to one night’s stay to cover cleaning costs.
12. Damages & Breakages
Guests are responsible for any damage or breakage they cause. Please report incidents promptly. Minor breakages will not usually incur a charge, but significant damage or failure to report it may result in a repair fee and a £50 administrative charge.
13. Liability
Except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, our liability is limited to the price of your booking. We are not responsible for indirect or special damages, or for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You agree to indemnify us for any damage or loss you cause to the hotel or its property.
14. Data Protection
We may process your personal information in accordance with our obligations under data protection law. By making a booking, you consent to this processing.
15. Privacy Policy
Our website does not automatically capture personal information but may log your IP address. We do not use cookies or share your personal information with third parties. Data you provide to us will be treated confidentially and used solely to process your booking or respond to inquiries. Our site may contain links to third-party websites; we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
16. Guest Policy
Guests are not permitted to invite visitors to their rooms. Unauthorized guests may result in additional charges or cancellation of the booking. If the cardholder is not present at check-in, guests may be asked to pay with their own card, with the original amount refunded to the cardholder (subject to a 1% processing fee). If payment by the guest is not possible, written authorization from the cardholder and a copy of the card must be provided.
17. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions or our rates at short notice.
